Abstract

The word prosperity most frequently refers to increase in material wealth. Not so often, it refers in a wider sense to all-round development of individuals and society, with justice and social equity being the corner stone. There is perhaps no society, past or present; in which all sections of people have become prosperous any holistic view of prosperity should therefore consider its social or human costs at least as seriously as its material costs. In today’s India, prosperity is the privilege of the few at the cost of the needs and dreams of the majority who are the socially and economically backward classes regardless of their religion. The narrow concept of prosperity is increase in material wealth, neglecting natural justice and social equity in an ambience of greed for power and material possessions that has made the world what it is today. We know how important it is to focus on the right interventions. Perception Change is crucial. Developmental welfare helps the community towards socio-economic sustainability. This helps them to live better quality of life and show them how to improve their own condition, where people learn to rely on their own inner strength in the struggle for better life. It becomes a people’s movement; Give to every other human being every right that you claim for yourself what promise does the future holds for our poor after 58 years of Independence? Development has often bypassed the poorest people, and has even increased their disadvantages. Poverty is deprivation and lack of opportunities in accessing social services as well as financial resources for the people. Resorting people’s livelihood through skill development and gainful employment are key factors. The poor need direct action to bring them into the development process and create the conditions for them to escape from poverty. Holistic approach towards capacity building Integral development based on education, that the villages would develop social, cultural, and political awareness. This will enable the community to join in the main-stream-line of India, while, at the same time it keeps alive its culture and identity. Lack education is also felt in the agriculture technology, which would help them to increase production. To carry out special work in the field of agricultural education, to provide professional training, job oriented courses, human resource development programmes and to establish, endow, develop, conduct, maintain, manage, equip, administer and carry on educational and technical schools, colleges, hostels and boarding houses and thus support and promote the advancement of educational activities. Much is achieved; still much more is to be achieved. We hope that our united efforts will ultimately lead the community to stand on its own.
