The book “FAQs on Vaccines and Immunization Practices” tries to deliver all the answers for the questions related to vaccines and immunization based on the latest information. Basics of Immunology, vaccines, therapeutic vaccines and evaluations of various adjuvants are covered in this book. This book is divided into six sections and thirty nine chapters. Section one answer all the questions about general vaccinations such as basics, vaccination schedules, vaccination in special situations and adolescent immunization. Tuberculosis, polio, diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis and measles are classified under EPI vaccines which explain the queries in a comprehensive nature. This book is helpful for both practitioners and for postgraduate students. Queries about non-EPI vaccines including Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A, varicella, pneumococcal diseases, combination vaccines and cholera are discussed in section three. Vaccines in the pipeline, novel approaches to vaccine formulations and delivery systems and therapeutic vaccines are explained in the rest of the chapters.
