The book “Interstitial Lung Disease” deals with brief historical account followed by physiological and radiological features of interstitial lung diseases. The interstitial lung diseases are also known as diffuse parenchymal diseases, constitute a group of lung diseases gathered under one title because of similar signs and symptoms, lung function impairment, radiographic abnormalities, or histological anomalies. Each chapter in this book cover different aspects of these complex maladies and suggest plans for effective management of patients with interstitial lung disease. The up-to-date and evidence-based accounts of incidence, clinical features, biochemical abnormalities, immunological, and genetic changes are briefly discussed. The description is enhanced with chest x-ray, CT and HRCT, MRI, and bronchoscopic findings.
