This is the 1st edition of the book Clinical Atlas of Burn Management. The text is comprehensive, updated and fully revised as per the present day requirements in management of burn injuries. The aim of this book is to help both students and treating surgeons to identify and determine the exact nature of the damage caused by severe burns and resultant wounds. This atlas depicts different types of burn cases with the help of well illustrated colourful photographs. The book has 10 chapters. The first chapter deals with causes and classification of burns. Chapter two provides a comprehensive description of pathophysiology of burn shock and burn wound. A sound foundation of understanding of initial management of burn and management of burn wound is provided in next 2 chapters. Chapter 5 deals with burn wound infection electric and chemical burns are given in next two chapters. Chapter 8 and 9 deal with burns of special areas and post-burn sequelae respectively. Radiation burns are describes in chapter 10. A comprehensive index is given at last.
