The book “Pain Clinics” elucidates pain management and pain treatment services along with the requirements, establishing and organizing the pain treatment facility. This book is divided into eleven chapters. It starts with the introduction about the various aspects of pain clinics. It gives an explanation of pain management and pain management units. It also explains about the treatment methods and interventional pain management. Chapter on pain treatment services explains about the history, current scenario, pain practice, multidisciplinary pain clinic and centers. It deals with common pain syndromes observed in pain clinic, evaluation of pain patients and golden rules of interventional pain management which is immediately followed by documentation and economics of the unit. Project report, designing and layout, procedure room, drugs and disposables and recovery area are important requirements which should be taken care before opening a pain clinic. Multidisciplinary pain management center is established in order to manage multidisciplinary pain and it is maintained by director and faculty members. Common pain syndromes associated with head and neck, trunk and extremities are explained along with management strategies. Golden rules of interventional pain management, documentation and economics of pain management are elaborated.
