This chapter discuss the classification of ocular injuries, clinical features of the fracture of the orbit, the pathology, clinical features and treatment of sympathetic ophthalmitis and describe etiology, clinical features, complications, diagnosis and treatment of extraocular foreign bodies, the damage caused by blunt trauma to cornea, uveal tract, lens, vitreous, retina and optic nerve, the mechanical effects of penetrating injury to the eye, the diagnosis and localization of intraocular foreign bodies and their management, the mode of action, grading and medical and surgical treatment of chemical injuries, injuries caused by different physical agents, including thermal burns and electrical and radiation injuries.
