This chapter provides detail description of human resource departments of hospital. HR department and manpower planning are given in detail. Recruitment, job analysis, selection, placement, orientation, employee’s personal file, training and development, performance appraisal, welfare activities and disciplinary action are described in detail. One flow chart is included to highlight recruitment process. 5 tables are added to depict staff requirement, essential qualification for staff and appraisal period for each category of staff.
