This book entitled “Infertility: Diagnosis, Management and IVF” explains the detailed diagnosis of male and female infertility, treatment of infertility with IVF, and various aspects of the IVF laboratory including protocols, handling of embryo transfers, freezing and biopsy for preimplantation genetic screening. It also covers the management of IVF programs, practice guidelines, ethical and social aspects of infertility and IVF, etc. Infertility diagnosis, management and the treatment options have drastically improved and diagnosis method has been refined the implementation of vitrification techniques that have aided the cryopreservation of embryos, eggs and blastocysts. This book consists of eight sections which cover various aspects of infertility and its treatment. Infertility and male factor infertility are explained briefly in the first and second section. The section three covers aspects regarding female factor infertility such as evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, etc., of female infertility. The in vitro fertilization procedures, protocols, female reproductive aging, etc., are discussed briefly in the fourth section. Section five and six details about the practice guidelines for the treatment of patients with infertility and assisted reproductive technology and birth defects. The regulation of the assisted reproductive technology laboratory and emotional and social aspects of infertility treatment are finally described in the eighth section.
