This is the 1st edition of the book Foot and Ankle Surgery. The text is comprehensive, updated as per the present day requirements in the subject of orthopaedics. This book contains current surgical and non-surgical options for foot and ankle pathologies. Preferred surgical techniques are described in detail with suitable illustrations. The book has 25 chapters. The first three chapters deal with general considerations, anatomy, examination and surgical options in foot and ankle pathologies. Next ten chapters are dedicated to different conditions, e.g. arthritis, deformities, nerve disorders, tumors, etc. of foot and ankle. Tendon disorders, diabetic foot, neuropathic foot and prosthesis for foot and ankle are described in detail with the help of well-illustrated diagrams in a user friendly language in next four chapters. A sound foundation of understanding of amputation, arthroscopy and infections of foot and ankle is provided in the next three chapters in simple text and easy to understand illustrations along with recent advances. Last chapter deals with trauma of foot and ankle. A comprehensive index is given at last.
