The diagnosis of association of narrowing the spinal canal and/or neuroforamin refers to lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS). It can be classified based on the anatomy and/or etiology. Primary LSS is because of the idiopathic, congenital, or achondroplastic causes. LSS can be seen frequently in the people of age above 50 years. Symptoms may be unilateral, or bilateral, and not constrained to having a symmetrical pattern. History and physical examination plays a major role of the diagnosis of a medical issue for a patient. In this case, focus should be more on history. Imaging and electrodiagnostics can help for confirming the diagnosis. In most of the musculoskeletal symptoms cases, initially conservative treatments should be attempted. For improving the function and quality of life, there are interventional options that are available.
