This chapter provides detail description of general treatment of fracture mandible. The chapter has 35 well illustrated diagrams and pictures. Mandible fracture reduction and fixation, immobilization, intermaxillary fixation, Gilmer method, Eyelet method, Bonded modified orthodontics brackets, nonrigid osteosynthesis, semirigid osteosynthesis, dynamic compression plating, locking plates, locking versus non-locking plates are described in detail. One flow chart is included to highlight types of fixation of mandible. One table is added to compare locking and unlocking plates.
