This book entitled “Principles and Practice of Wound Care” covers practically all different types of wounds in detail and comprises four sections. The chapters move from the pathology of wound healing to the most recent advances and finally on the management of scars and its maturation. The other factors influencing wound management which involves nutrition, changes in environment either by negative pressure or by increasing the oxygen pressure are also described briefly. This book also provides a comprehensive and extensive review of wound healing and its management, treatment and also its prevention. The chapters in this book deal with all the newer products inquire in detail about their mechanism, role and utility in wound healing. The first section deals with the history and healing of wounds like evolution of wound care, pathology of wound healing, etc. Second and third section describes about types and principles of wound management. Miscellaneous are briefly discussed in the fourth section.
