Abstract

Skin is said to be mirror image of a person’s health. Certain skin condition accompanies the ophthalmological findings like blisters, neoplasms and genodermatoses. Definitions, clinical presentations, diagnosis and treatment of cicatricial pemphigoi, Linear IgA bullous dermatosis, Pemphigus vulgaris and Pemphigus vulgaris is described with the representative pictures. Also, various hypersensitive disorders like Erythema multiforme (EM), Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) and toxic epidermal necrolysis are discussed in detail. Types, pathogenesis of the disease, clinical features and treatment strategies of different eczematous dermatoses, granulomatous disorders are given. Clinical presentations of skin disease and the associated eye conditions are described. In addition, conditions due to error in metabolism and various connective tissue disorders are also described.
