Abstract

In order to achieve super vision, surgeons should believe that there are no limits to refractive surgery options fundamental refractive surgical operations. Diagnosis, clinical evaluation by surgeon must be precise using modern technology and logical approach to make the vision better. Gulani classification for refractive surgery has to be followed by all surgeons before performing the surgery. This chapter describes the surgical procedures keratomileusis and lamellar keratoplasty. Automated lamellar keratoplasty is an easy technique to perform, fast recovery rate, wide range of potential correction, disadvantage include irregular astigmatism and loss of caps which is corrected using flap technique. Chapter also describes various cases of patients on which surgeons should take decision to perform better surgery; understanding the past of the patient and achieve supervision for refractive patients today will help them in reshaping their future.
