Abstract

Liposuction has been used to correct deformities in a number of entities. These include lymphedema, fatty tumors (lipomas), flaps and tubed pedicles, nodular multiple lipomatosis, scars and fat depressions that are traumatic or iatrogenic, and in Dercum’s disease or adiposis dolorosa (painful lipomatosis). The technique of liposuction is described for each of these disorders.
