Quality control for andrology laboratories, equipment design and set-up of IUI laboratory is one of the main topics of this book. The intrauterine insemination (IUI) is the least invasive, least stressful, least hazardous and least expensive technique. It also gives an overview of infertility, how IUI technique is used in the treatment of infertility and ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. They also discusses about the semen analysis, the various methods for semen collections, the parameters used for sperm count and the classification of sperm. Topics such as role of transvaginal sonography in monitoring of ovulation and IUI, controlled superovulation, patient selection and management for IUI, hormones and fertility drugs used for women with unexplained infertility are also covered in the book.
