This chapter describes detail description of squatting stress echocardiography including advantages and disadvantages. Stress echocardiography (SE) has an established utility for the detection of significant coronary artery disease (CAD) with a notable accuracy of 80-90%, which is superior to that of exercise electrocardiographic testing and comparable to that of nuclear stress imaging. Squatting SE has been identified as an inexpensive, simple, and rapid noninvasive CAD risk assessment modality with fewer complications than current stress imaging techniques.
