The Manual of Medical Treatment in Urology comprises of two sections, the first depicts about Benign Urological Diseases and the second about Medical Treatment of Urological Cancer. Benign urological diseases contains Urologic pain that can be measured using visual analogue scale, Urinary tract infection (UTI) -- the inflammatory response of urothelium to bacterial invasion, Erectile Dysfunction -- the inability of a male to attain and maintain an erection, Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) the result of prostatic glandular epithelial, Urolithiasis the stone formation in the urinary tract and Miscellaneous Use of Drugs for various consequences. The Medical Treatment of Urological Cancer includes Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) an adenocarcinoma arising from renal tubular epithelium, Bladder cancer the most common malignancy of the urinary tract, Prostate cancer (CaP) the fourth most common male malignancy, Testicular cancer the most common malignancy in men aged between 20 and 35 years, Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the penis due to Human papilloma virus (HPV), herpes virus infections and Nephroblastoma an embryonal tumor of renal origin, arises from the primitive renal blastema. The manual also explains the outline of pharmacotherapy of various drugs used in treating above diseases.
