The book discusses on important aspects associated with pediatrics. The most frequent and commonly seen problems of infants, especially the pathological conditions, diseases associated with organs and about immunization and vaccination are represented in the form of case studies. Few case studies directly target the disease while others explain about diseases/disorders of body systems. Case studies discussed here is mainly on - Protein Energy Malnutrition that arises from lack in varying proportions of calories and proteins, abnormalities of abdomen, cerebral palsy, renal system disorders, defects of cardiovascular system, defects of respiratory system, problems seen in newborn, spotters like hydrocephalus, Down’s syndrome and microcepahly. Immunization schedules and vaccines administered to children are explained in detail.
