The book discuss about the aspects of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technique and its applications in diagnosis of various disorder in the body. There are various disorder like tumors, infection, cyst, hemorrhage, fibroids caused in different parts of the body such as brain, orbit, spine, pelvis, musculoskeletal system which includes knee joint, shoulder joint, hip joint, bony lesion and soft tissues and some miscellaneous diseases such as gallstone, regenerative nodules and bronchogenic cysts all of these are accurately detected and evaluated by MRI. This book also discusses about MRI artifacts which helps retain the original images and MRI contrast that uses intravenous contrast agents like gadolinium chelates and superparamagnetic agents like iron oxide, which provides contrast image and alter the magnetic characteristics of neighboring tissues.
