Various well established and emerging device-based therapies are illustrated and discussed, including PCI, CABG, ablation therapy, stent grafts, peripheral bypass, endarterectomy, arrhythmia ablation, septal closure devices, atrial appendage occluders, and TAVR. Both American and European practice guidelines for the management of specific cardiovascular diseases are summarized and discussed.
