The book Jaypee Gold Standard Mini Atlas Series® MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING provides a large reservoir of MR imaging explanations routinely required. These images help the residents, radiologists and the practitioners to interpret the possible diagnosis during their routine practice. The book serves as a clinical guide in MR image interpretation. The opening chapter of the book gives the history and physics of MRI. There are separate chapters discussing the MRI findings of organs like abdomen, pelvis, spine, bones, joints, soft tissues, orbit, and brain. The abnormalities in these organs detected on MRI are discussed. There is a chapter on MRI artifacts, which are important for study as they can lead to misdiagnosis of the disease. The contrast agents used in MRI, namely, the intravenous and oral contrast agents are discussed in a separate chapter. The last two chapters of the book are on terms and acronyms used in the context of MRI.
