The book titled “Intern Tips in Obstetrics & Gynecology” is a quick reference for commonly seen inpatient obstetric and gynecological issues. The book entails the information to cover common inpatient cases seen on obstetrics and gynecology inpatient rounds with concise, comprehensive and authoritative manner. It serves as a comprehensive guide and initiates in assisting and making decision. The book has 6 chapters. This book includes sample orders and to help the provider and physician-in-training to concentrate on the points that are important to address. The initial chapter illustrates on general labor and delivery tips; calculating/estimating gestational age; fetal assessment, advanced fetal testing; various changes such observed in pregnancy such as metabolic, endocrine system, steroid, gastrointestinal system, respiratory and cardiovascular, hematologic, etc. The book also deals with wide differential diagnosis concerns and specific diagnostic workups for common patient presentations, from normal pregnancy and potential pregnancy complications, through to labour and delivery, postpartum and subsequent gynaecological consultations.
