The book “Tips and Tricks in Orthopedic Surgery” will enhance the understanding of the principles and rational therapy. Aim of fracture management is to treat every injury, in the best possible way. Good clinical examination, assessment, efficient and necessary splint application on patient arrival and arranging necessary X-ray examination form the basis of treatment and its further planning. Patient discomfort should be reduced and functions should be restored. The operation instruments and implants, including power tools, video equipment, etc. should be sterile and ready. Immediate internal fixation should be done soon after the arrival. Immediate closed reduction and external immobilization or skeletal traction was administered as a stage I of the procedure. Radiographic examination should be done with correct patient positioning, to give the necessary information. Knowledge about newer implants is available. This book is divided into two sections. First section described the fracture of upper extremity while the second section covers lower extremity and pelvis.
