This book “Ultrasound in Infertility and Gynecology: Text and Atlas” summarizes various gynecological disorders causes of infertility and use of ultrasound in the diagnosis of various diseases. This book covers every aspect of gynecological diseases like normal and abnormal uterus, adnexal pathologies, PCO and OHSS etc. Ultrasound scans, Doppler scans, 3D ultrasound and 3D power Doppler etc., are used in the assessment of various diseases. Transvaginal scans play an important role in the diagnosis, because these scans give best visibility and accuracy of diagnosis of various clinical conditions. These scans also have importance in the evaluation of tubes, diagnosis of PCO and prediction of OHSS, cyclical changes in ovaries and assessment of follicular maturity, cyclical changes in endometrium and uterus, cervical assessment by transvaginal ultrasound and ultrasound-guided procedures in assisted reproduction treatment etc. Early pregnancy assessment is also described thoroughly which help in the assessment of normal or abnormal growth patterns.
