The book Basic Concepts in Head and Neck Surgery and Oncology scrutinize about the recent techniques used for the management of head and neck cancers. Management of these types of cancers is divided into three important modalities namely surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. Each cancer has different surgical principles and these principles are dealt separately in this book. This is not only a complete reference book but also it provides quite easy steps of techniques for physicians and apprentices. This book is spilt into seven different sections and subdivided into thirty four chapters. The sections are: Thyroid, salivary gland and parapharyngeal space, neck, paranasal sinuses, oral cavity and oropharynx, larynx, hypopharynx, and nasopharynx, and general topics. Each section is divided into pathology, imaging and practical management guidelines. Radiation, chemotherapy, reconstruction and molecular biology are also discussed in individual chapters.
