The intent of the “Textbook of Child Health Nursing” is to provide the nurse with the basis needed for sound nursing care of children. The book covers trends in pediatric care, ethical and legal issues, care of hospitalized child, prenatal pediatrics, genetics, growth and development from infancy to adolescence, behavioral disorders in pediatrics, nutrition in children, Integrated Management of Neonatal and Childhood Illness (IMNCI) approach, and planning and organization of neonatal and pediatric intensive care units.
