The book titled "Principles and Interpretation of Laboratory Practices in Surgical Pathology" encompasses the fundamental and distinct role of laboratory in science education. The book is mainly written to provide a user-friendly manual towards laboratory procedures for diagnostic methods that are especially useful to pathologists, cytologists, cyto- and histotechnologists as well as postgraduate students. This book also encloses an entire chapter dedicated to microtomy, its principles of functioning, usage and maintenance along with illustrations of different types of microtomes microtomy. It provides a wide knowledge of different techniques that comprises processing of specimens, fluids and preparation that facilitate samples to be easily handled by pathologists. This book incorporates author's vast experience in cyto- and histopathology.
