This chapter basically talks about the vitiligo: other modalities of treatment. Surgical methods are the modalitiy of choice for stable recalcitrant vitiligo patches. Newer cell based or tissue based techniques provide a good color match along with repigmentation. Hence, patient satisfaction can be achieved by employing these novel methods of repigmentation. This chapter also discusses the micropigmentation/tattooing and surgical removal of the depigmented areas. This chapter also provides detail about the therapeutic wounding, epidermal cell transfer technique and follicular unit extraction transplant. A brief description on smash grafting has been provided in this chapter. Four well-colored figures are also presented in this chapter, which are helpful for better understanding.
