The aim of this chapter is to focus on the imaging pathologies of basic magnetic resonance. This chapter is divided into bone tumors, central nervous system, hepatobiliary system, magnetic resonance imaging thorax, shoulder joint, knee joint, wrist joint, degenerative diseases of spine, infection of bones, and infections of spine. Bone tumors are defined as a new growth arising in a bone or derived from the cells which are components of skeletal tissue. They can be benign or malignant. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is the most accurate method for demonstrating the intramedullary extent of tumors. Hepatobiliary system includes liver, pancreas, spleen, common bile duct, gallbladder, and portal vein. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) evolved as a third lung imaging modality, combining morphological and functional information. In this chapter, multiple choice questions are provided along with their answers.
