The aim of this chapter is to focus on trauma assessment. Rapid trauma assessment is a quick method, (60–90 seconds), to identify hidden and obvious injuries in a trauma victim. The goal is to identify and treat immediate threats to life that may not have been obvious during an initial assessment. Primary examination in case of trauma, secondary examination in case of trauma, ACLS medications, drug dosages in case of shock, cardiac drugs, and common antibiotics are discussed in the table format.
