Cardiological Society of India (CSI) is the largest and the most prestigious body of cardiologists in India. This book consists of 20 sections which include clinical cardiology: the art that still survives in India, valvular heart disease (rheumatic/nonrheumatic) in India, pulmonary arterial hypertension in India, heart failure in India, diseases of the myocardium, pericardial disease, congenital heart disease in India, coronary artery disease in India, interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery in India, nonspecific aortoarteritis in India, hypertension, dyslipidemia, arrhythmias and cardiac electrophysiology, diabetics, metabolic syndrome, and cardiovascular disease, thromboembolic disease, pregnancy and heart disease in India, noninvasive imaging, cardiac tumors, and miscellaneous, which are further divided into 80 chapters. The acclaimed international guidelines also are incorporated as only a natural and rational process, but how those may be modified and adapted in India has specifically been highlighted in this textbook. This book will be useful for the postgraduate doctors as well.
