Abstract

Abstract

This chapter focuses on normal urine analysis. Urine analysis is very important for clinical interpretation and should be examined soon after being passed. For random examination, a random specimen is satisfactory, but for certain investigations urine passed at a particular time of the day is valuable. Composition of normal urine, physical examination, test for inorganic constituents of urine, and test for organic constituents of urine are also covered in this chapter.
