Abstract

This chapter describes an approach to a subject with recurrent spontaneous miscarriages. Recurrent spontaneous miscarriage is interlinked with many other obstetric vasculopathies. As a result, when we approach a subject with this condition it will be necessary to remember that close surveillance will not end at 12–14 weeks but will continue till term. While a subject may not have a recurrent miscarriage this time but she can have preeclampsia or intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) or a stillbirth. It is because all vasculopathies are interlinked. Reassurance is the first step to tender loving care in subjects with recurrent spontaneous miscarriages.
