Abstract

This section describes the complications of diabetes. This section covers the cognitive dysfunction in older adults with diabetes, insulin resistance and cognitive performance in type 2 diabetes mellitus, diabetic nephropathy, diabetic neuropathy, diabetic retinopathy, diabetic striatopathy and ketoacidosis, diabetic macular edema, diabetic ketoacidosis without diabetes, systematic review or meta-analysis aspirin for primary prevention of cardiovascular and all-cause mortality events in diabetes, declining trends of cardiovascular-renal complications and mortality in type 2 diabetes mellitus, management of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, genetically driven hyperglycemia increases risk of coronary artery disease separately from type 2 diabetes, and comparative effectiveness of diabetic oral medications among HIV-infected and HIV-uninfected veterans.
