This chapter mainly focuses on pelvis, rectum, and perineum, which includes superior hypogastric plexus block: posterior approach and pudendal nerve block. Endometriosis, proctalgia fugax, radiation enteritis, testicular cancer pain, rectal tenesmus, and other genitourinary, gynecologic, colorectal, and chronic pelvic pain are the indications of superior hypogastric plexus block. Pain in anal region, pain in perineum, pain in scrotum, and pain in penis, or vulva are the indications of the pudendal nerve block. Ganglion impar block: sacrococcygeal or intercoccygeal joint approach is also discussed in this chapter. Advantages, disadvantages or complications, injectate, and techniques are also described throughout in this chapter.
