Truth telling is an integral principle of bioethics. The common components are treatment options, futility, prognosis, heredity, causation activity of problem, and medication errors. The moral stand is that patients in question required to be told of all aspects regarding his illness and choices available. This chapter covers the handling institutional requests, financial interest—disclosure for research projects and publications, and medical errors. Honesty is the hallmark of the physician. It is a professional attribute. Therapeutic privilege is a secret to save the patient from unpleasant consequences of the bad news, if told to the patient. Even in such extremes, the patient should be told in an ascending fashion.
