This book is a primer on neonatal neuroscience and mental health, from understanding addiction and its impact on fetal and infant brain structure and function, to studying long-term neurodevelopment in other high-risk infants. This book also discusses the current healthcare service delivery models in newborn medicine, with pediatric hospitalists and advanced practice providers becoming increasingly important to patient care and research.
