The aim of this practical guide is to focus on the infertility. The incidence of infertility is increasing worldwide. Many factors are responsible for both male and female infertility, and it is the duty of the experts in the field of reproductive medicine and surgery to evaluate and solve the problems. Infertility is not only a medical problem, but a social and psychological problem as well. In recent years, after popularization of assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures, medical fraternity has shown a growing interest in the subject. It is to be kept in mind that any ART procedure is expensive, time consuming, laborious and requires absolute devotion. Many infertile couples can be treated and managed with non-ART procedures like proper fertility counseling, ovulation induction (OI) and laparoscopy. This book consists of 45 chapters. This volume has been prepared with articles covering most of the aspects of infertility, from basic to advanced procedures, other than ART. Many eminent infertility specialists have contributed to the different chapters in this book. Male factor requires elaborate evaluation which has been dealt with exhaustively in the volume andrology and embryology. This book is useful in the practice and help in complex clinical situation.
