Abstract

This chapter covers recipes which are made by using eggs such as egg burji, egg curry, and egg omelet along with the ingredients used for making these recipes and nutritional composition of these recipes. Egg burji also called as anda burji or egg masala dry. It is usually served as a side dish with roti, chapati or bread. Egg curry is a popular gravy dish which is spicy and prepared using boiled eggs, tomatoes and fried onions. It is commonly eaten with chapati, roti or rice. Egg omelet is a classic breakfast and snack item, made from beaten eggs, cooked with butter or oil.
