The objective of this chapter is to introduce the endoscopy in infertility. This chapter is divided into two parts such as laparoscopy in infertility and hysteroscopy in infertility. Hysterolaparoscopy forms an integral part of gynecologic surgery for the diagnosis and treatment of abdominal and pelvic disorders of female reproductive organs. The advent of gynecologic endoscopy had begun in 1930s with the development of diagnostic laparoscopy. Currently, laparoscopy is considered to be the gold standard, as it provides not only a panoramic and magnified view of the pelvic and abdominal organs but also the opportunity to perform extensive surgery. The aim of this chapter is to review the role of hysterolaparoscopy in the management of infertility patients. Hysteroscopy is a valuable modality in the management of infertility nowadays. It is one of the oldest diagnostic procedures in gynecology but general acceptance has been slow and, only recently, has it been advocated as a tool in the general workup of an infertile patient.
