The aim of this book is to focus on the Musculoskeletal Examination. This book is a complete guide to musculoskeletal examination for trainees in orthopaedics. This book consists of 17 chapters, which include basics of history taking and examination in orthopedics, clinical evaluation of polytrauma and acute injury of bones and joints, clinical evaluation of the shoulder joint, clinical evaluation of the hip joint, clinical evaluation of the spine, clinical evaluation of a child with cerebral palsy, clinical evaluation of a child with cerebral palsy, clinical evaluation of gait and various patterns of gait etc. Chapter follows a step by step format and each test is accompanied by explanatory photographs and diagrams to assist understanding. An added feature is that each chapter has a proforma, which emphasizes key points, which are helpful to remember for medical examination. Each chapter then ends with some basic information about common diseases affecting the joint, allowing some sort of overview of the situation, albeit for the student levels.
