This ISCCM manual focuses on obstetric critical care. The Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) is in the forefront of education and training in the field of critical care. Critical care has evolved as a dynamic specialty and the understanding of the pathophysiology of critical illness is improving continuously. This book is comprised of 5 sections that focus on basic physiology and epidemiology, principles of fetomaternal monitoring, systemic disorders, procedures and transport, and syndromic approach, which are further divided into 49 chapters. The five different sections as well as the different subsections are designed in such a way that the clinicians will get latest knowledge and practical skills in various aspects of fetomaternal medicine with special emphasis in managing the spectrum of illness. This manual will serve as the template for the online course and the practical hands-on session linked to this academic exercise. This manual is dedicated to all the patients who have suffered from critical illness, to teach us more about the problems and their solutions.
