This is the 2nd edition of the book Diagnostic and Operative Hysteroscopy. The text is comprehensive, updated and fully revised as per the present day requirements in hysteroscopy in obstetrics and gynaecology. In this edition of the book an effort is made to highlight the special problems and hurdles to provide practical details in hysteroscopy. Right from anatomy of uterus to indications, complications, different disease conditions and anaesthesia in hysteroscopy are covered comprehensively. The book has 18 chapters. The first chapter deals with anatomy of uterus. Chapter two provides a comprehensive description of maintenance of the set of the hysteroscopy instruments. Next five chapters are dedicated to office hysteroscopy, ultrasound and diagnosis and treatment of endometrial hyperplasia and carcinoma. Subsequent chapters deal with hysteroscopic myomectomy, tubal sterilization, endometrial polyps, septate uterus, endometrial ablation, complications of hysteroscopy and anaesthesia used in hysteroscopy. A comprehensive index is given at last.
