Dermoscopy has been used for improving accuracy in the diagnosis of pigmented and nonpigmented skin tumors. Entomology refers to the study of insects and their environment. Consequently, entomodermoscopy would lead to the description of dermoscopic aspects of insectrelated diseases. Clearly some of these skin conditions have a well-defined dermoscopic pattern, and eventually the offending agent might also be visualized. The major descriptions of entomodermatoscopy are viral infections, fungal infections, parasitic infestations, and miscellaneous.
