This chapter gives a brief description on the color images of special locations. Its include face, palms and soles, mucosa, and nails. Diagnosis and treatment of pigmented maculae on the face is one of the most difficult scenarios in the daily practice, even using a dermoscope. The face has a particular anatomic characteristic. The mucosa has a special epithelial type characterized by its thinness and being constantly lubricated. The horny layer or stratum corneum, granular layer, and sweat glands are absent, as opposed to what happens with the skin, which is why the observable dermoscopic criteria are different. The pigmented lesions on the mucosae encompass a range of different entities which may have melanocytic origin or result from a precipitate of melanin pigment or of other substances with exogenous or endogenous origin. Nail dermoscopy may be performed by means of any model of handheld dermoscope and it is advisable to use a colorless ultrasound gel.
