This chapter gives the overview on preneoplastic and neoplastic lesions of cervix. This chapter also provides a brief discussion on World Health Organization classification of tumors of the uterine cervix. This chapter also discusses the human papilloma virus and terminology of preneoplastic lesions of cervix. The chapter also describes the cervical intraepithelial neoplasm grade 1 or low grade squamous intraepithelial lesion. This chapter also explains about the high grade squamous intraepithelial lesions and squamous cell carcinoma. Variants of squamous cell carcinoma are also discussed in this chapter.
