The aim of this book is to focus on the practical pharmacology. Pharmacology is the branch of biology concerned with the study of drug action, where a drug can be broadly defined as any man-made, natural, or endogenous (from within body) molecule which exerts a biochemical or physiological effect on the cell, tissue, organ, or organism. More specifically, it is the study of the interactions that occur between a living organism and chemicals that affect normal or abnormal biochemical function. This book consists of seven chapters which include spots, prescription, criticism, therapeutic problems, fixed dose combination (FDC), pharmacy preparations and drug interactions. This book helps the MBBS students to score well in practical pharmacology. This book is also useful for last moment revision before exams as it provides gist of practical pharmacology.
