OSCE in Orthopedics

The aim of this chapter is to focus on the OSCE in orthopedics. In an OSCE station, clinical history, clinical finding investigation result, operative photographs, acute trauma photographs which one cannot be questioned in a regular (postgraduate or undergraduate) examinations. For decades, we have the evaluation method with different types of examiners. There are a few steps to know how an OSCE is evolved such as clinical problem, Sampling grid, and Clear instructions. This book has more than 400 clinical cases with different types of questionnaires, and answers are given either as the written answer by the candidate or what is expected of him in such a situation. This book can also be useful in such examinations like the PG-NEET, entrance examination of St. John’s where OSCE like problem-oriented cases are discussed. This book will be effective in regular theory examinations, especially writing a crisp short note, both for undergraduates and postgraduates.
