RSSDI Diabetes Update–2019

Diabetes mellitus is an important and formidable disease or disease affecting mankind. Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India—RSSDI, founded in 1972, is committed to increase the standards of diabetes care in India by educating healthcare professionals across the country. RSSDI Update is an integral part of capacity building during its annual conference to be distributed to all attending delegates across the country. This book comprised of 15 sections, which include epidemiology, pathophysiology and metabolism, diagnosis and classification, lifestyle modification, therapeutics, guidelines, diabetes and complications, diabetic foot, diabetes and co-morbidities, diabetes and women, controversies in diabetes, diabetes and education, diabetes and technology, diabetes prevention, and research methodology, which are further divided into 91 chapters. The contents of this book are designed to appropriately keep the need of the time in mind and contain all the topics from diagnosis to pathophysiology to management and prevention as well. This book will be helpful to the readers in enhancing their practice and improving day-to-day practice.
